Based on the work of Patrick Lencioni’s international best-seller The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, The Five Behaviours® Powered by Everything DiSC® helps teams apply The Five Behaviours® model of Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Results to drive team effectiveness and productivity.
The Five Behaviours Model is simple but not simplistic.
Members of an intact team each complete their own assessment of their team by answering 20 questions (four on each of the five behaviours), and receive an aggregated set of scores plus a DiSC or MBTI equivalent report.
The resulting report can be used during offsites and workshops to explore the team's strengths and areas for improvement and to come up with actions that will lead to an increase in their effectiveness and capacity to deliver results.
When setting out to coach a team, the first thing to establish is whether they have shared goals and are in fact a team. Do they depend on each other to deliver a set of goals? If so, then focusing on building team cohesion will make a significant difference to the likelihood that they will deliver on their goals and, indeed, become a high performing team.
